Strategic planning often gets a bad rap. And it’s easy to see why. Usually, we have a board retreat or take the staff off site and hold a big meeting. Much is said and brainstorming is vigorous, but little is written down and less is quantified. We return to the office on Monday, with few decisions made. I appreciate your leadership and inspiration before and during our retreat. I thought we were taking on a large task with only 7 hours together but with the preparation you did and the process we followed I was amazed at what we accomplished. You really brought out the best in this group and they are pretty great to start with.
